The Department of Social Protection will carry out scheduled maintenance on an Application Programming Interface (API) that interacts with the RTB’s tenancy registration system this Friday and Saturday.
The maintenance will take place from 12.30pm on Friday, 28th March to 9.00am on Saturday, 29th March 2025.
What does this mean for RTB customers?
- We will be unable to verify Personal Public Service (PPS) numbers entered into the RTB tenancy registration system while this maintenance is taking place.
- Customers may experience delays creating an RTB account or registering tenancies during this time.
- This will only impact on customers where we need to check that a PPS number they have entered is correct.
- If you create an account or register a tenancy during this time, you do not need to take any further action. When the maintenance is completed, the system will complete all pending checks on PPS numbers and your account creation or registration will progress as normal.
