oaths.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You do not need to get an apostille or official stamp in these countries.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Hague Convention Countries:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Including Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States<\/b><\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can make a declaration before any person authorised under the law of that country to administer oaths.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will also need to get a certificate called an apostille stamped onto or attached to your declaration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each country has a \u2018designated competent authority\u2019 that will provide you with the apostille.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can see the full list of Hague Convention Countries and find out where to get an apostille on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hcch.net\/en\/instruments\/conventions\/authorities1\/?cid=41\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hague Convention website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Other countries outside the Hague and EC Conventions<\/b><\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can make a declaration before any person authorised under the law of that country to administer oaths.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But you will also need to authenticate in accordance with the laws of that country:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your signature as the person making the declaration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The capacity you have made the declaration in.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seal or stamp of the person who has administered the oath.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may be asked to provide proof of the requirements for making a statutory declaration under law in that country at an RTB hearing.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Countries with an Irish embassy or consulate<\/b><\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There may also be an option to sign a statutory declaration at an Irish embassy or Consulate if there is one in the country where you are based.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will need to contact the Embassy or Consulate to check if they offer this service, how to make an appointment and if there is a fee.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where the services of a solicitor, notary public or public official authorised to take statutory declarations are available in the relevant country, an Embassy or Consulate\u00a0 will generally direct you to those services instead<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can
