All appliances must be in good working order.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Peaceful and exclusive occupation,<\/strong> which means the landlord can only enter the property with your permission, except in an emergency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Receive information on how your rent was set<\/strong> if your tenancy is in a Rent Pressure Zone. Your landlord must provide details of the last rent amount set for the property, the date it was last set and how your rent was calculated.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rent receipts or statements<\/strong> for rent payments and any additional charges paid to the landlord.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advance notice of rent increases,<\/strong> with at least 90 days&#8217; notice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contact details for your landlord<\/strong> or their authorised agent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Repairs or reimbursement<\/strong> if the landlord cannot carry out necessary repairs within a reasonable timeframe and you arrange them yourself. Expenses must be reasonable and you should provide receipts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proper notice before eviction, <\/strong>which means you get a valid <a href=\"https:\/\/rtb.ie\/ga\/renting\/ending-a-tenancy\/notice-of-termination-guide\/\">Notice of Termination<\/a> if your tenancy is ending.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dispute resolution<\/strong> through the RTB dispute resolution service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Access to RTB register information<\/strong> about your tenancy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Not be discriminated against<\/strong> because of your gender, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, race, or membership of the Traveller community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your tenancy started on or after 11 June 2022, you also have the right to stay in the rented property indefinitely after 6 months of renting &#8211; known as <a href=\"https:\/\/rtb.ie\/ga\/renting\/rights-responsibilities\/tenants-rights-to-stay-in-a-rented-property\/\">security of tenure<\/a>. This right applies if the following conditions are met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have not been served with a valid Notice of Termination.<\/li>\n<li>You continue to meet your responsibilities as a tenant (see below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The landlord must follow the rules under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishstatutebook.ie\/eli\/2004\/act\/27\/enacted\/en\/print.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Residential Tenancies Act 2004 (RTA)<\/a> if they want to end the tenancy.
