The landlord can only end the tenancy on these limited grounds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have broken the rules of the tenancy<\/li>\n<li>The property is no longer suitable for your needs or the people living with you. For example, there aren&#8217;t enough beds or space for the number of people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unlike standard private tenancies, landlords cannot end a cost rental tenancy for reasons such as selling the property, wanting to move in themselves or move a family member into the property, changing the use of the property or carrying out renovations to the property.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/article>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"block-block_4cbe771ab5264c353e71f30d193c8815\" class=\"header-paragraph-block rtb-block  margin-top-xs margin-bottom-s\">\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"content\">\n\t\t\t<article class=\"cms-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>How a tenant can end the tenancy<\/h2>\n<p>You can end a cost rental tenancy by providing the landlord with written notice. You do not need to give a reason for ending the tenancy.
