The Residential Tenancies Board is committed to making this website accessible in accordance with European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020 – S.I. General Content Accessibility

Some images are missing appropriate alt text
Some headings are not marked up, are marked up incorrectly, or skip levels, or use incorrect level
Some data tables, such as on the Rent Pressure Zone Results page, do not use table heading tags
Some pages are not fully mobile responsive
Some nesting hierarchy issues are found throughout the site

Form & Interactive Content Accessibility

Labels are missing in some cases, such as on the Rent Pressure Zone page, RPZ Calculator page and the Investigations and Sanctions form
Fieldsets are missing on the Is this page useful facility
Label targets are hidden in some cases
Aria use is incorrect on some controlling buttons
Some links open in a new window without warning
In some cases, extended descriptions are not programmatically attached to the relevant form field
Alert and status roles are not used on form error and feedback messages
Some error messages could be more specific and helpful
Some links, buttons and navigation areas would benefit from use of aria to add additional context

Keyboard Accessibility

On the Check the Register page, the paging system, and export options are not keyboard available
On the Rent Pressure Zone page, the search button is not keyboard available
On the investigations and sanctions form, the upload buttons are not keyboard available
Focus order is poor following use of paging systems, some in-page links and some search systems

Colour Related Accessibility

There are color contrast issues with some element on the site, such as active color states, graphs, and form fields
There are focus-visibility issues on buttons, icons & form fields throughout the site
In-text link underline is often not contrast compliant
