Individual accounts
Follow the steps below to link a tenancy.
1. Log in to your registration account
- Select the ‘Linking an Existing Registration’ from the homepage.
- Make sure your surname and email address match those on the tenancy registration you want to link to.
2. Linking options
There are two ways to link the tenancy:
Option 1: Use the RT number
- Enter the RT number (unique number assigned to each tenancy registration) in the format RT-XXXX-XXXXXXXX.
- To enter multiple RT numbers, separate them with a comma and no spaces. For example, RT-XXXX-XXXXXXXX,RT-XXXX-XXXXXXXX.
- You can enter up to 6 RT numbers.
- Your surname and email will be auto-filled, greyed out and can’t be edited.
Option 2: Use the Account ID number
- Enter your five-digit Account ID from your previous registration account.
- Your surname and email will be auto-filled, greyed out and can’t be edited.
3. Link to registration
- Click ‘Link to Registration’.
- Review identified registration records.
- Select ‘Link’ to add the records to your online account.
- If the record is marked ‘Unmatched’ you need to provide more information before the record can be linked. Select ‘Unmatched’ to provide details.
4. Review registration
- You can add parties to the record (if you need to).
- Select ‘Accept’ to add the registration record to your account.
- Select ‘Reject’ if you don’t want to add the registration record to your account.
5. Linking is successful
Once linked, registration(s) will appear under ‘Renew Annual Registration and Manage Registrations’ on your homepage.
6. Linking is unsuccessful
If the linking is unsuccessful, it is marked ‘Unmatched’ on your ‘Renew Annual Registration and Manage Registrations’ section.
You need to provide more information so we can identify the correct registration record(s). We will contact you once we have located the record(s).
